Key Responsibilities:
Develop and validate animal disease models by working with CROs
Evaluate in vivo efficacy, establish PK/PD relationship, and understand mechanism of action.
Develop assays to profile protein readouts in tissues from animal studies.
Develop assays to evaluate target engagement and downstream effects in human blood.
Use good practices for data record keeping and analysis.
Train and mentor junior scientists.
Draft technical sections in regulatory documents.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Biology, oncology, or pharmacology in major
PhD with a minimum of 5-10 years of industry experience. Title/Level can be flexible based on experience.
Extensive experience on in vivo pharmacology in oncology field and familiar with different tumor models
Successful track record of delivering non-clinical pharmacology package to enable IND filing and early development of small molecule therapeutics
Experience of collaboration with CROs or external partners
Understand in disease biology for oncology or immunology therapeutic areas.
